Chemical Peels in Aiken, SC
Shed the dull, tired layer the years have left behind — and reveal the fresh, luminous skin waiting underneath.
Renewal, By Design
What is a chemical peel?
There comes a moment when the mirror shows skin that looks a little drab — fine lines, crow's feet, and age spots where a dewy glow used to be. A chemical peel is one of the most effective ways to change that: a carefully selected acid solution lifts away layers of dead, tired skin, triggering fresh cell regeneration beneath.
Depending on your goals, your specialist may use alpha hydroxy, glycolic, salicylic, citric, or trichloroacetic acid — at a light, medium, or deep level. Lighter peels refresh the surface with a few days of light flaking; deeper peels reach etched lines and sun damage and ask for a longer recovery in exchange for more dramatic change. And peels aren't just for the face — the neck, chest, back, body, and backs of the hands respond beautifully too.
- Fine lines, deep wrinkles & crow's feet
- Age spots, sunspots & discoloration
- Acne, acne scarring & enlarged pores
Why Patients Love It
Fresh skin, your depth
Truly Customizable
Light, medium, or deep — the acid, strength, and depth are chosen for your skin and your goals, from a pre-event refresh to serious resurfacing.
Regeneration From Within
Peels don't just remove dull skin — they kickstart new cell growth as your skin repairs, for results that keep improving after the flaking ends.
Face, Neck, Hands & Body
Treat sunspots and crepiness beyond the face — the neck, backs of the hands, and body all respond beautifully. Body peels are an option too.

Over the following days your skin flakes and sheds — light peels recover in about 4–7 days, deeper peels up to two weeks. Some biostimulatory peels, like BioRePeel, have no flaking and no downtime at all.

Chemical peel FAQs
Usually not for a light peel — expect some flaking and mild redness you can work through. Medium and deep peels do call for recovery time, so we recommend scheduling them away from big events and giving your skin room to heal.
Light peels typically bring only mild tingling, flaking, and possible redness. Medium and deep peels involve more warmth and post-treatment peeling, swelling, or scabbing — temporary effects that give way to noticeably fresher skin within two weeks.
Light peels can be done in a series spaced 4–6 weeks apart, or quarterly for maintenance. Deeper peels can also be done in a series for deeper correction, then maintained quarterly or as little as once a year. Your specialist will map the right timeline for you.
Adults 18 and over who aren't pregnant, nursing, or under treatment for certain medical conditions — and who are bothered by dullness, lines, discoloration, uneven tone, or acne scarring. Your consultation confirms the safest, most effective option for you.
